The whispers are out there that Mauricio Pochettino could be sacked if he fails to qualify for Europe. The League Cup was the easiest way to do that but Chelsea lost to Liverpool in the final. Is Poch feeling the pressure?
He answered in the press conference, as quoted by Nizaar Kinsella: "[Me and the owners] were talking and I said hello when I saw them in the stadium. I met Behdad Eghbali after and we were talking, we were talking.
"We were sharing the opinion of the game, we were talking about the opportunity we missed to win a trophy.
"They showed their support, and after the game, Todd [Boehly] sent a nice message.
"It's not in my hands [if I have time at Chelsea]. We have very good relationship with the owners and sporting directors. It's up to them to trust or not. It's not the coach's decision."
