Raheem Sterling produced another impressive performance in Chelsea’s 4-0 win over Preston North End in the FA Cup.
He capped off his performance with a fantastic free-kick to make it 3-0 and basically confirm the win for his side.
Sterling has now scored two free-kick goals for the Blues this season, which is rather brilliant considering he wasn’t known as a set-piece specialist.
In fact, the Englishman had only scored one free-kick goal in his 168 previous goals in English football before this season.
Mauricio Pochettino was all praise for Sterling’s goal-scoring heroics after the game, saying: “I told him when we finished the game ‘David Beckham is shaking’ because he will take the record from David.
“That is the quality, you can practice all day, every day but after is to take and score. To be honest, we practice but it’s not special practice for him. That’s about his quality.”
