Dates for next Premier League season confirmed: how Chelsea will be affected by it — explained

The Premier League confirmed the dates for the next campaign which may already help Chelsea plan for the summer of 2025.

The 2024/25 campaign will start on August 17, 2024, and end on May 25, 2025. On the last day of the season, all 20 teams will play simultaneously, including Chelsea.

As it was revealed a few days ago, Chelsea will also be involved in the new-look FIFA Club World Cup in the summer of 2025. The competition will kick off on June 15, 2025.

It means that Chelsea will have three weeks of rest between the end of the Premier League campaign and the start of the Club World Cup.
