Chelsea and Man City to battle for three Argentina talents
According to 90min, Chelsea and Man City show interest in a River Plate trio of Claudio Echeverri, Agustin Ruberto and Ian Subiabre.
Echeverri and Ruberto both turn 18 in January and will have their contract expire next year. Subiabre is just 16 years old and can only move overseas in January 2025.
Chelsea academy graduate linked with Tottenham
Samuel Iling-Junior, the former Chelsea academy player who broke into senior football at Juventus, is targeted by Tottenham, according to the Evening Standard.
The 20-year-old whose contract expires in 18 months is valued at £15.5million by Juventus. The Italian side ideally want to keep the winger but will be forced to part ways with him if he pushes for more minutes elsewhere.
Lebouef makes bizarre striker suggestion to Chelsea
Frank Lebouef said, as quoted by Football London: "There’s also Nantes’ Mostafa Mohamed; I think he could do a good job."
The Egyptian has scored 16 goals in 63 appearances for Nantes so we doubt that he explodes if Chelsea sign him.
