Chelsea opponent in FA Cup third round confirmed

Chelsea will face Preston North End in the FA Cup third round.

The Blues will play the game at home in early January.

Preston are currently eighth in the Championship, two points from the play-off places.

Last season, Chelsea were knocked out of the FA Cup at this stage by Man City who defeated them 4-0 and went on to win the whole thing.
