La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness) carry a report claiming that Mykhaylo Mudryk has urged Mauricio Pochettino to sign Shakhtar attacking midfielder Heorhiy Sudakov.
The 21-year-old is Misha's former teammate at Shakhtar and they also play together for the Ukraine national team. As per the report, Mudryk 'insists on having him as a teammate' at Chelsea.
Sudakov has scored three goals in 15 appearances across all competitions this season.
Juventus are also said to be interested in the Shakhtar player but if Chelsea become interested, the Italian side will be unable to financially compete for his signature.
Gazzetta dello Sport is a relatively reliable source but this report feels too bizarre to be true — and it's not that Chelsea are looking for new attacking midfielders when they have Nkunku and Palmer.
