Poch hints at playing with a false nine & 2 more under-radar stories at Chelsea

Poch opens up on playing without striker

With Nicolas Jackson injured, Mauricio Pochettino is going to have to come up with a solution for his frontline. He suggested that his side may even play without a striker.

"The most important thing is to adapt, the squad needs to find a way to perform, that is the most important [thing]," he said in his presser.

"We can play with one striker or maybe we can play without a striker. I think it is still a few days and I need to see and assess the squad about this situation."

Chelsea add to scouting department

According to The Secret Scout, former West Brom head of scouting Jeremy Leyde will join Chelsea as the Position Specific Scouting manager.

Leyde previously worked at Brighton under Paul Winstanley who is currently Chelsea's co-sporting director.

Al Hilal to challenge Chelsea for Osimhen signing

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal will pose a major challenge to Chelsea in their hopes of signing Victor Osimhen.

They are reportedly willing to pay £200m for the striker which could prove to be too much for the Blues.
