Romano: 'Lautaro was never discussed with Chelsea'
Fabrizio Romano has provided some insight into Chelsea's transfer dealings this summer and revealed that Inter forward Lautaro Martinez was never discussed as an option.
“Lautaro Martínez was never a topic discussed in the summer with Chelsea. After paying big money for Romelu Lukaku in the past, they were not willing to do a similar kind of deal.”
No buy-back clause for Tomori
Fabrizio Romano spoke about former Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori and the possibility of the Blues resigning him.
The journalist reveals that there is no buy-back clause included in his contract with AC Milan, where he has excelled since leaving Chelsea in 2021.
Lukaku dropped by Jay-Z's agency
The Telegraph reports that Romelu Lukaku has been dropped by the Roc Nation Sports agency owned by Jay-Z.
Previously, it was claimed that the agents were unhappy after their efforts to keep Lukaku at Inter were undermined as the striker went behind their backs to negotiate a move to Juventus. He ended up joining Roma on loan instead.
