Chelsea attempting to offload out-of-favour defender to Turkey before Friday (reliability: 4 stars)

Chelsea defender Malang Sarr has been on the fringes of the squad for some time now.

After spells at Porto and Monaco, the defender is reported to have 'no chance' of making it back into Mauricio Pochettino's side and will be offloaded to Turkey.

The Blues will accept a move for the player, as per Football Insider, ahead of the Turkish league's Friday transfer deadline, should an appropriate offer be made.

He is reportedly on a £120,000-a-week wage and is contracted until summer 2025. The player, who made 17 appearances for Monaco last season has interest from a number of Turkish sides.
