Diego Moreira joins Lyon on loan

Chelsea have agreed to send Diego Moreira on loan to Lyon, the club's official website confirms.

The 19-year-old winger joined Chelsea from Benfica as a free agent earlier this summer.

He was a part of the team during the pre-season tour to the United States and made his full debut for the Blues in the Carabao Cup game against Wimbledon on Wednesday.

According to Lyon's official website, the French club will pay €2.8m for a year-long loan.
