Chelsea forced to consider lowering Lukaku price tag as potential buyers back out

Chelsea are set to be forced to reduce Romelu Lukaku's £35 million price tag as they struggle to find a buyer for him, reports Nizaar Kinsella.

The striker was wanted by Juventus but only if they would be able to sell their striker Dusan Vlahovic for £50 million.

Vlahovic was offered to Chelsea as well but his high wage demands as well as recurring injury issues saw the Blues refrain from agreeing a deal.

There had been offers from Saudi side Al Hilal too but they have now signed Aleksander Mitrovic for £46 million.

It seems Lukaku will now either be sold in a rush for cheap or be integrated back into the squad.
