The Telegraph's Matt Law, a top source for all things Chelsea, reports that Romelu Lukaku finds himself in a rather strange situation.
Estranged at Stamford Bridge, he's been training with the U21s and 'has not even spoken' with Mauricio Pochettino over his future. The Blues just want to ship him off as soon as possible.
It proves difficult though. Saudi Arabian clubs have shown interest in the striker but he's adamant that he wants to stay in Europe. Another option is Juventus but they would move for him only if they get Dusan Vlahovic off their wage bill.
The Blues have rejected Juventus' offers — to pay £30m and give them Lukaku — for Vlahovic, because they don't want to pay such a fee for the Serbian. Additionally, his £7m-a-year wages are proving to be a problem.
Chelsea insist that they will not Lukaku leave the club on loan again. They want to sell the Belgian and be done with it. However, Saudi clubs and Juventus aside, there is no interest in getting the forward on a permanent move.
