Chelsea's £20m move for Tyler Adams collapsed, it was reported on Friday. The Blues won't sign the Leeds midfielder.
Now the reason why Chelsea pulled out of the deal has been reported by the Daily Mail. The newspaper says that a medical revealed that the American has a persistent hamstring injury.
Adams hasn't played after picking up the injury back in May and Chelsea's doctors warned the club that it could take up to four months for the player to recover.
The Blues are also in a heated transfer race for the signings of Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo.
