Chelsea reject Vlahovic-Lukaku swap deal (reliability: 5 stars)

Chelsea have decided against signing Dusan Vlahovic as part of the deal to sell Romelu Lukaku to Juventus, Fabrizio Romano reports.

The Blues have no intention to accept Juventus' demands of €40m plus Lukaku for the Serbia forward - even though they respect Vlahovic.

Lukaku has already agreed a three-year deal with the Serie A club but will have to wait for the clubs to reach an agreement.

Chelsea remain determined to sell the 30-year-old, whether they reach a deal with a European club before transfer deadline or with a Saudi club in September.
