Juventus are interested in signing Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea and have been pushing for the Blues to take their striker Dusan Vlahovic in a player swap.
Fabrizio Romano had recently provided an update on the same, saying that the Blues had been offered the player last month too but declined the offer of the swap, not necessarily because they didn't rate the player but because they did not like the deal.
“Juventus are pushing again for Chelsea to accept Dusan Vlahovic as part of the negotiation to make the Romelu Lukaku deal happen," reported Romano.
A lot of Chelsea fans may question why Juventus want to get rid of their striker and is it because he isn't any good.
Reddit user and Juventus fan, Dahwood has explained what's been going on with Vlahovic at Juventus:
"Allegri clearly does not like him and does not intend to fit him into a proper structure.
"The club decided to back Allegri as his contract is too expensive to kick him out. Allegri wants a Lukaku-type striker, we could get Beto or someone with actual potential but Allegri probably doesn’t even know what an Udinese is since he prides himself in not watching matches.
"Then there’s the fact that we need to sell before buying, not only because of FPP but also because we’re stacked in some positions, and Vlahovic is one of the few valuable pieces we have."
