How Chelsea's starting XI could've looked like if club treated Academy with respect it deserves

This weekend saw Declan Rice become the most expensive British player in the Premier League as Arsenal paid £105m to sign the midfielder.

Rice, as well as so many other former Chelsea players like Musiala, Christensen, Ake and Abraham prove that the Blues' academy is one of the best not just in England but in the world. The problem is that we don't keep our best players, letting them flourish somewhere else.

Some academy graduates are fortunately still with Chelsea, with Reece James being the Blues' arguably best player when he's fit.

But let's imagine a world in which Chelsea give time and space for their academy players to develop to their full potential... and here we have a squad consisting of only Chelsea academy graduates.

Good enough to win the Premier League, what do you think? Just sign a goalie (sorry, Birmingham's Neil Etheridge) and we're good to go!
