Lyon have tabled a formal €25m bid to sign Christian Pulisic, David Ornstein reports in the Athletic.
The Ligue 1 side have also included a 'meaningful sell-on clause' which is being discussed between the clubs.
Chelsea are ready to accept the offer and the Blues have an excellent relationship with Lyon, having signed Malo Gusto from them in January.
Meanwhile, as previously reported by Ornstein, AC Milan made a verbal bid for Pulisic amounting just €14m. The Italians tried to gaslight Chelsea into thinking the US international isn't worth more than that because he has a year on his contract and barely played last season.
The forward has scored 26 goals in 145 appearances for Chelsea since joining the Blues on a €64m move from Dortmund in 2019.
