Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta has hinted that they are not going to overpay for Romelu Lukaku as they are negotiating a deal that would see the Belgian finally leave Chelsea.
"Chelsea must decide what they will do with him, it’s normal that they can’t put him on the market and expect large fees," Marotta said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
"It’s no coincidence the offer from Saudi Arabia for Lukaku was around €50m."
According to the latest reports, Inter are prepared to include an obligation to buy clause in the deal to sign Lukaku on another loan spell - but they are only prepared to pay €30m for that.
