'Playing there would be like nothing else': Enzo Fernandez names his dream club - not Chelsea

"I've always said that my dream is to come back to River Plate. I don't know when, it's in the hands of destiny. But coming back to River would be like nothing else," Enzo Fernandez told ESPN.

"I follow River's every game except when they play too late. They play well and with much confidence at the moment, I enjoy it."

The Argentine is a River Plate academy graduate and played for them until the summer of 2022, when he signed for Benfica.

The midfielder joined Chelsea just half a year after his move to Portugal, with the Blues breaking the British transfer record by paying £106.8m for the World Cup winner.
