Chelsea-bound Christopher Nkunku end Bundesliga campaign as joint-top goalscorer

Some Chelsea fans may have forgotten this, but the Blues are set to have Christopher Nkunku in their squad next season.

In fact, even Fabrizio Romano felt the need to reiterate that the deal with RB Leipzig is done.

On Saturday, he played his last Bundesliga game for Leipzig and celebrated it with a brace, including one goal in the fourth minute of injury time.

That goal allowed Nkunku to become the joint-top goalscorer this season along with Werder's Niclas Fullkrug. Both of them scored 16 goals each.

Nkunku may not have played his last game for Leipzig yet as he's set to feature in the German Cup final against Eintracht Frankfurt next Saturday.
