Speaking after being inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame, Petr Cech reacted to Chelsea's struggles this season.
"It's sad to see the club as they are in the table but there is a lot of experienced players and which obviously experience difficult moments in their careers like that," Cech said, as quoted by the Mirror.
"I hope Frank Lampard gets with the players and they find solutions for the upcoming games. Sometimes you need just one win or one positive result to turn a corner so hopefully they achieve that."
Cech was still at the club at the start of the season but chose to leave when it became apparent that his input was not as valuable to the new ownership group as it was to their predecessors.
The former goalkeeper had been an advisor to former Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia and played a key part in some of the deals in the past few years, including the signings of Timo Werner and Edouard Mendy.
