Update on Malo Gusto injury

Lyon manager Laurent Blanc has provided an update on Chelsea loanee Malo Gusto's hamstring injury.

"We have a problem with Malo. He injured his hamstring a few games ago and he recovered. He did not re-injure himself, it was not a tear. He still has discomfort."

Enzo expected to start alongside Gallagher

As per reports from Nizaar Kinsella, Chelsea's big-money signing Enzo Fernandez is expected to be partnered with Conor Gallagher in midfield against West Ham this weekend.

Chelsea left-back Ian Maatsen who is shining on loan at Burnley has received the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for January.

The Dutchman's biggest contribution last month was a brace in a 2-1 win at Swansea. Overall, the 20-year-old has four goals and five assists in 24 Championship games.

The European Super League raised its head again, with a new project unveiled earlier this week - but Graham Potter does not appear to be a fan.

When asked if he'd support such plans if Chelsea were involved, the boss answered: "[It's] hard to answer hypothetical questions but I don't think so. I think my position is my position and that's it."
