Rating Joao Felix debut from 1 to 10 as if red card didn't happen

Joao Felix was given his debut within the first 24 hours of being confirmed as a Chelsea player. The fact that he started the game against Fulham showed how much Chelsea needed a quality forward.

Regardless of what happened in the 58th minute of that game, Felix showed his quality almost immediately after kick-off. He took players on, found space and created chances. Without question, he was Chelsea's best player in the first half.

Episode 1: Creates chance for Havertz

Felix was too quick and brilliant for Tim Ream. He dribbled the defender and sped into the box before finding Havertz.

Unfortunately, Havertz scoffed his shot before passing the rebound to Lewis Hall who fired straight at Leno.

Episode 2: Draws fouls

Again, Felix was too quick and nimble-footed for the Fulham defence in the opening periods of the game.

In this episode, he beats Antonee Robinson in a foot race who fouls him and gets a yellow.

Less than 10 minutes later it was Andreas Periera who got on the book for fouling Felix.

Altogether Felix was fouled four times in the game against Fulham.

Episode 3: Goal attempts

Felix was not afraid to shoot at goal when he had the chance. He attempted four shots on target against Fulham despite playing for less than 60 minutes.

In this episode, he's surrounded by three defenders but still creates space for himself to register a shot on target. It's the hunger and creativity that sets him apart from other Chelsea forwards right now.

In another instance he receives the ball close to his feet from Havertz but still manages to unleash another stinging shot on target:
