Frank Lampard is considering bringing in his former Chelsea teammate Ashley Cole as part of his coaching team at Everton, the Evening Standard reports.
The ex-Chelsea manager is expected to be confirmed in his new role today, and his backroom staff will have a lot of connections with his former side.
Cole was one of the first names on Lampard's shortlist when he started drawing up his coaching team prior to his appointment.
Former Chelsea assistant manager Paul Clement will join him, as well as fitness coach Chris Jones who worked with Lampard both at Derby and Chelsea.
Joe Edwards who has been a part of Thomas Tuchel's team is expected to follow Lampard to Goodison Park, but Anthony Barry has apparently decided to stay at Stamford Bridge.
Ashley Cole is currently working at the Chelsea academy. Since last summer, he has also been England U21 assistant manager.
