In an interview with RMC Sport, Emmanuel Macron, the President of France praised Chelsea's French midfielder, N'Golo Kante.
Following Chelsea's Champions League win, Kante's name has been catapulted into the discussions for the Ballon d'Or, which is awarded by France Football.
Here's what he said about Kante during the interview: "When you see the journey of N'Golo Kanté this season with his club (Chelsea), what he will bring for us I am sure, in this competition (Euro 2020). I hope he gets the Ballon D'Or."
Kante is set to represent France during the Euros and should be able to reach the latter stages of the competition.
If he can keep performing at this level then the Ballon d'Or is a distinct possibility for the diminutive French midfielder.
