Jorginho has signed a new one-year contract to stay on at Arsenal until at least the end of the 2024/25 season.
After penning the new deal, the Italian has voiced his desire to win the Premier League title with the Gunners during his stay.
When asked if the illusive league title is his primary objective, Jorginho told club media: “That’s missing! It’s something that definitely I would like to add to that list and it would mean a lot to me.
“I want to win as much as I can, and enjoy the moment because that’s really important for me. If you are somewhere where you are not enjoying it, or you are not happy, then it’s difficult. So moving forward is trying to be happy and achieve as much as we can.”
Jorginho will hope that his dream can come true in this campaign itself. Arsenal are currently leading the Premier League table. But to clinch the championship, the Gunners need to win their last two games and for Man City to drop points in at least one of their three matches.
