Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has challenged Tottenham Hotspur to show some fight in their upcoming Premier League clash against Man City.
The Gunners could potentially win the Premier League title if the Cityzens drop points to Spurs next week and Morgan has urged them to tap into their best form for the game.
He tweeted: “For once in your miserable little lives @SpursOfficial – grow a pair. If you roll over against City on the 14th, eternal damnation awaits.”
Unfortunately for Arsenal, Tottenham are in the midst of a horrible run of form and have now lost all of their last four games – including the recent 4-2 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.
Moreover, being the Gunners’ arch-rivals, Spurs are unlikely to want to give Arsenal any advantage and have little motivation to actually even defeat Man City as their own top-4 hopes are more or less over.
All that Mikel Arteta’s side can do at this point is win their last two games and hope that Man City drop points in their last three games and help them clinch their first Premier League title in two decades.
