'VAR ruining the game': Rivals fans fume after Micky van de Ven equalizer ruled out

Arsenal have taken a brilliant 3-0 lead in the first half against Tottenham Hotspur in the key Premier League game.

However, the Gunners suffered a scare after taking the lead through Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's equalizer.

Micky van de Ven scored an equalizer in the 23rd minute. But upon double-checking, the VAR officials realized that Van de Ven was marginally offside before his goal.

It was clear that Van de Ven was offside and the replays also showed it, but some bitter rival fans are furious to see the goal ruled out. Here is how they reacted on Twitter.

George: "VAR ruining the game once again with decisions as tight as this. Remove VAR and stick to the linesman’s decisions."

Utd Arnold: "That was never an offside."

Tales: "Nah officials are embarrassing man."

Johnny Bull: "The quality of football is ruined by the very thing that is supposed to improve it!!"
