Manchester City remain one point behind Arsenal in the Premier League table but they have one crucial game in hand.
They beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 this Sunday, following which Pep Guardiola was asked about the North London derby result.
Reacting to Arsenal's 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur, Guardiola replied via The Guardian: "I would have preferred they lost, but we cannot control what they do.
"They got a good result, four games left.
"I don’t think Arsenal will lose any points so we know exactly what to do."
Arsenal may be forced to regret the costly defeat to Aston Villa two weeks back - the only instance where they dropped points.
The title race is now solely down to Arsenal and Man City, who are chasing their fourth consecutive trophy.
