'Why not?': Jorginho's agent confirms he will meet Arsenal to discuss new contract

Jorginho's agent Joao Santos has revealed he is due to discuss his client's future with Arsenal before the summer.

Quoted by Fabrizio Romano, Santos said in an interview: "We will discuss with Arsenal about his contract being due to expire in June, it’s our priority.

"Arsenal have fantastic group and we will see if they need him for next season."

He was then asked if Jorgi could return to Italy, to which he replied: "Returning to Italy? Why not? One day maybe."

Jorginho, 32, only has a couple of months to go on his contract as Arsenal chase another Premier League title.

He's been an instrumental option for Mikel Arteta this season but the Gunners are reportedly undecided on his future.
