'I feel sorry for Saka': Rio Ferdinand reflects on 'world-class' controversy he started

In the latest episode of his YouTube podcast, Rio Ferdinand reflected on his recent comments about Bukayo Saka not being a 'world-class' player.

The former Manchester United defender said: "Do you know who I feel sorry for in this situation? Saka. Because it brings him more pressure.

"Someone asked me a simple question. I answered it honestly. And I gave him the praise and credit that I think he deserves.

"But it's a massive compliment being talked about in and around the world-class conversation, I think, for a player so young."

Earlier this month, Ferdinand sparked a heated debate around Saka's quality by comparing him to Phil Foden, even drawing criticism from Ian Wright.
