Arsenal retain 'strong interest' in signing Mykhailo Mudryk from Chelsea

According to Spanish news outlet Fichajes, Arsenal have been named among the contenders interested in signing Mykhailo Mudryk on the back of his failed Chelsea spell.

Arsenal were part of a transfer tussle with Chelsea for the Ukrainian winger but he eventually moved to Stamford Bridge for a whopping £88.5 million last summer.

Now, Chelsea are reportedly eager to let Mudryk leave even on a permanent deal if needed.

With just four goals to his name in 26 appearances, Mudryk could be signed for a much lower fee now.

He appears to have lost his place at Chelsea to Raheem Sterling and striker Nicolas Jackson after falling out of favour under Mauricio Pochettino.

Besides Arsenal, Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Mudryk albeit on a temporary loan first.
