Newcastle referee named
Paul Tierney will be taking charge of the Arsenal vs Newcastle clash in the Premier League on Saturday, it has been announced.
The 43-year-old official has so far refereed 16 top-flight games involving the Gunners with a record of five wins, six draws and five defeats.
Arteta shares encouraging Timber update
Mikel Arteta told reporters of Jurrien Timber's injury: "I really hope so [he returns soon].
"He’s doing really well. He’s been with some players on the pitch. He’s going to do some bits with us on the pitch in the coming week. Hopefully the answer will be yes."

Arsenal have announced a summer tour in the United States where they will take on Liverpool and Man United in pre-season, as per the BBC.
Arteta reacted, saying: "Our tour last year was a real success and it's always an amazing experience to play in front of our passionate supporters in the US."
