Partey dropped from Ghana squad: How many Arsenal players will be at AFCON?

Mo Elneny will be the only Arsenal player at next year's Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. 

Elneny was selected among Egypt's 27-man squad for the competition slated to take place between January 13 to February 11.

However, Thomas Partey was not named in Ghana's contingent for the showpiece. The midfielder is currently recuperating from an injury. 

Had he made the squad, Partey would have clashed with Elneny at the showpiece as Ghana and Egypt were drawn in Group B alongside Mozambique and Cape Verde.
