Kai Havertz finds the net in just five minutes against Turkey playing in a surprising new role

Kai Havertz surprised everyone by scoring for Germany against Turkey in a surprising new role.

Even though he's been adjusting, Havertz showed his skills for Germany by putting them ahead against Turkey in Berlin, only five minutes into the friendly. Germany's boss, Julian Nagelsmann, did something pretty unexpected by putting Havertz to play as a left-back, and surprisingly, it paid off

However, despite playing as a left-back, it was a typical Kai Havertz goal because he acted more as a forward or a false 9 in that moment.

Despite Havertz doing his thing, Germany ended up losing 3-2. Turkey's Ferdi Kadioglu scored to level things, and then Kenan Yildiz gave the visitors the lead. Tough break for Germany after Havertz's early magic.

It'll be interesting to see if Germany, hosting Euro 2024 next summer, will keep using Havertz on the left side of the defence or if it was just a one-time thing.
