'Hasn't been the same': Ian Wright names one Arsenal player suffering from Granit Xhaka's exit

Speaking on the Wrighty's House podcast, Ian Wright said: "Oleksandr Zinchenko without Granit Xhaka, it's not the same role.

"Xhaka was very important. Zinchenko doesn't seem to be able to do it without the way Granit was playing and giving him that license.

"We got something out of that [Chelsea] game. In the main, you have to take something out of that simply because you can't afford to lose that game."

Last season, Xhaka would often drop into left-back at Arsenal, allowing Zinchenko the freedom to invert in midfield and drive the ball forward.

Declan Rice and Jorginho, who played in central midfield against Chelsea at the weekend, are not tasked with doing such a thing by Mikel Arteta.
