Turkey lining up move for Ozil – not in a coaching role

The Turkish national team are reportedly considering sacking boss Stefan Kuntz and general manager Hamit Altintop.

Former Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is being tipped to join his former Germany boss Joachim Low in taking up roles for Turkey.

Low would take over as the head coach, while Mesut Ozil would become the general manager.

Ozil only retired from professional football six months ago and seems likely to get back into football soon.
