Arsenal set to take part in Emirates Cup friendly before Community Shield

As per the Evening Standard, Arsenal are trying to arrange a friendly match against AS Monaco in the Emirates Cup at the Emirates Stadium.

This is pencilled in to take place on August 2, a few days before the Community Shield clash against Man City.

Galatasaray meet with Nuno Tavares agents over possible transfer

Turkish giants Galatasaray have met with the representatives of Arsenal defender Nuno Tavares over a summer move, claims Turkish journalist Resat Ozbudak.

They will assess his situation and make a bid to sign him after the U21 Euros.

Gundogan not joining Arsenal

IIkay Gundogan’s camp says the player’s options are between Barcelona and Man City, potentially ruling out a move to Arsenal or Saudi Arabia.

The City skipper is expected to make a decision after the Champions League final.
