Arsenal might rethink transfer priorities after Man City loss - including new midfield targets (reliability: 3 stars)

The heavy Man City defeat showed the deficiencies in the squad Arsenal will have to correct if they are to fight for the Premier League title next season.

That's why, according to The Sun, Arsenal might have to rethink their summer transfer campaign.

They no longer can spend £150million on two midfielders like Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo while neglecting other areas of the squad.

The Gunners need two more defenders and possibly another attacking player.

In particular, the absence of William Saliba hurt them over the past few weeks, with Rob Holding unable to step up to the same level.

For midfield, it means cheaper players could be targeted, like pending free agent Youri Tielemans. Mason Mount could also be an option as his contract with Chelsea expires next year.
