"[A]n iron will almost unlike anything I’ve ever known," Nicklas Bendtner told The Guardian when asked to describe his former teammate and current Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.
"[H]is commitment, determination and leadership was without question. He was the one who was always going down that road [towards management] and he was a guy you could go to for advice."
It is telling that even 'Lord' Bendtner, a player notorious for his lack of discipline, takes his hat off to Arteta.
The Spanish boss is making everyone believe in himself and Arsenal, having won the FA Cup and the Community Shield in his first nine months at the Emirates.
Perhaps Nicklas will be hoping to emulate Arteta's successful transition to management as the Dane revealed a few months ago he would like to become a head coach in the future.
