Ronaldo's mother Dolores: I'm going to Turin. I'm talking to Cristiano, he will play for Sporting next season

Juventus are facing a prospect of having no Champions League football next season and Cristiano Ronaldo's mother wants her son to return to the place where his career began back in 1997.

Sporting Lisbon have been crowned Portuguese champions for the first time in 19 years and fans are ecstatic over the possibility of Cristiano making a return to his boyhood club.

Dolores Aveiro, Ronaldo's mother, said while addressing the supporters from her balcony: 'I'm going to Turin.

"I'll talk to him [Cristiano] to bring him back. Next year he will play in Alvalade [Sporting's home ground]."
