- Marseille defender Alvaro Gonzalez lashed out on Neymar after seeing his side fall to a 1-2 loss to PSG in the Trophee des Champions clash on Wednesday.
- After the win, Neymar tweeted a picture mocking Gonzalez to which the Spaniard replied: “My parents always taught me to take out the trash. Go OM always”
- Gonzalez has some history with Neymar after being involved in a controversial scuffle with the Brazilian when Marseille defeated PSG 1-0 in September last year.
- Neymar was sent off during that game for smacking the Marseille defender on the back of his head and later accusing him of making racist comments on the pitch.
- While Gonzalez escaped serious punishment after being cleared of his racism charges, it seems he continues to share bad blood with Neymar and we can expect these two to be at each other’s throats when they next meet in February.
