How to spend wisely (aka Don't Buy Mbappe)
Three years ago, PSG paid €222m for a single player and acted as nothing special happened. Strange times we are living in, brothers.
Just a few months ago we clould provide a list of 4-5 clubs that would have no problems paying €200m and above for a star player. But with the expected financial crisis, it seems like football will have go back to his roots.
Back to the times when scouting and youth developement were the keystones of club development.
When the transfer window opens, the clubs will have to adapt to the new reality when no penny should be spent above the exact price of a player. We won't see too many big signings this summer, this is certain.
Just look at what the price of a single player (although talented) can bring you.
Can you imagine Kylian Mbappe single-handedly beating a team of eleven? Yea, me neither.
This money can get you exciting prospects like Upamecano or hidden gems like Ilicic, McGinn and Ziyech. Need more experience? Just add to that Handanovic, Matip and Witsel to the mix and you are good to go.
This team would certainly be title contenders in any of the top five big leagues.
Once again, spend wisely!

you literally can buy an entire squad for Mbappe's transfer price
Good, now we just need that kind of money
Don't tell Barca about this. We don't want them to sign old players anymore.
