Georgy Tzepkovsky
In defence of Raheem Sterling
Guys, Sterling is trying. Yes, on the pitch at the moment, things are not working out for Raheem.
But you can't fault his effort. He wants to fight for his place in the team, to succeed, to bring Chelsea back where they belong. The easiest thing for him now would be to throw a tantrum, do nothing until the end of the season and leave for Saudi Arabia.
But he doesn't want to do that — and that's a rare thing that should be rewarded, especially in the modern game.
Stick by Sterling and do what fans do — support the players. He might surprise you as the season draws to a close.
Comments
We can fault his effort, as does little or nothing in tracking back, jogs around the pitch, very selfish.
Sterling is good. We all know this. But if he had not made some selfish decisions, on Chelsea fan would be this upset with him.
Sterling is good but some time he played selfish football
