Legendary Confession!
Filippo Inzaghi on Zinedine Zidane:
“I was at Juve when I first saw Zidane. The first few weeks I was running around the pitch and admiring what he did with the ball. I looked at him like a child watching a cartoon. In training, I tried to do what he did, but I never succeeded... then one day he came up to me and said:
"Well done! You are so strong in front of the goal, congratulations!"
I didn't answer him but I said to myself: “If I’m good, what about him then?"
The weeks passed and when he had the opportunity, he repeated his compliments to me. One day I said to him:
“You are incredible, I have never seen anyone treat the ball like this.”
He smiled and said, “If I did what you do, I would be in the hospital by now Waiting for the ball for an entire match is crazy!"
After his words, I realized that everyone was born to do something. I knew how to score goals and he knew how to make the ball dance.
You may have seen him in matches, but Zizou in training, he was paranormal!”
