'It worked very well': Ancelotti in awe of one tactical tweak he's done lately

"The moment we put Rodrygo on the left, he scored against City and Vini scored against Bayern," Carlo Ancelotti has told the media.

"This change really helped us adjust things... and on that side, things are going very well. The whole left wing has worked very well," he added.

Instead of playing with both Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo up front, Ancelotti prefers to place the latter on the left and use Vini in a more central position. This really bears fruit.

Rodrygo has scored four goals in his last five appearances for Real Madrid; Vinicius Junior has three in his last three matches.
