"Thibaut [Courtois] is fine and he will play tomorrow [against Cadiz]. This is very good news for us, like the comeback of Militao. He is very excited and we are all delighted that he can come back," Carlo Ancelotti has told the media.
"The final we have in mind is Wednesday's game against Bayern in which Lunin is going to play. Then we'll see.
"You want to ask me if Courtois can play in a hypothetical [Champions League] final after the injury he has had. But we don't think about a month from now. We'll see," the boss also said.
So it seems like the idea is for Thibaut Courtois to get game time in La Liga while Andriy Lunin will keep playing in the Champions League. And then before the potential UCL final, Carlo will decide the best option based on form and fitness.
