'I learned this': Guler explains why he can't call Modric and Kroos by their names

Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are the oldest players at Real Madrid and it's why Arda Guler, the youngest player in the senior team, refuses to call them by their first name.

"I can't call him Luka, I can't call him Toni, they are older," Guler told Turkish outlet KAFA Sports.

"I learned this in my family. I feel like I'm disrespecting them. I call Toni brother and Modric brother.

"That's why they started calling me brother," the youngster added.

Guler is only 19 which is just half Modric's age. The player proves he has wisdom by showing respect to his elders in the squad.

The Turkish sensation has been acclimatizing to life in Spain after a big move from Fernabahce. Guler has scored two La Liga goals so far despite starting one game.
