David Alaba reportedly suffers new injury setback

David Alaba has undergone another knee surgery, reports Relevo's Rodra P.

The Austrian's comeback apparently will be delayed now. He was initially expected back in August or September, but the return could be postponed again.

Alaba has been sidelined since mid-December, only making 17 appearances for the Whites but recording two assists.

Real Madrid are expected to strengthen the centre-back position amid Alaba's setback and Nacho's departure. They could go for highly-talented Leny Yoro and bring Rafa Marin back from Alaves loan this summer.
