'I feel like I'm disrespecting them': Arda Guler lifts lid on relationship with Kroos and Modric

"I can't call him [Modric] Luka, I can't call him [Kroos] Toni, they are older. I learned this in my family. I feel like I'm disrespecting them," Arda Guler has told KAFA Sports.

"I call Toni and Modric brothers. That's why they started calling me brother too," the 19-year-old added.

It's great to know the Turkish wonderkid is so humble at times. This should definitely help him if he aims to succeed in football.

There is a chance Arda Guler will take over Luka Modric's no. 10 jersey once the Croatian leaves Real Madrid. The Turkish gem is tipped to become the 38-year-old's heir.

Arda Guler has scored two goals in his last three appearances for the Whites.
